Abstract—The implementation of international
commitments on intellectual properties has become
a concern of many Vietnamese enterprises.
Nevertheless, there exist intellectual properties of
ethnic communities that Vietnamese enterprises
forget – the traditional knowledge. This term is a
relatively new and controversial in Vietnam. This
paper focuses on clarifying the connotation of
― i i w e ge‖ zi g he e f
equal commercialization of traditional knowledge in
preserving culture and sustainably developing the
society and economy.
Keywords—Traditional knowledge, indigenous
knowledge, folk culture, indigenous culture, cultural
heritage, intangible culture, equal

Identifying traditional knowledge and the equal
